With Boomerang's double booking prevention, as your schedule fills up, your suggested times update automatically every time your recipient opens the email.

How to Suggest Times to a Recipient

1
To Suggest Times to your recipient, open up a new compose window by tapping on the envelope icon in the top right corner.

2
Compose a message to your recipient, then tap on the calendar icon in the bar at the bottom right of your compose window.

3
From the popup menu, tap on Suggest Times.

4
You will see the Suggest Times dialog open as a new pop up menu. If you've already included a subject line and recipient, you'll see that they've been autofilled in the menu. If you didn't have those added to your draft, you'll just tap on Add Guest to add the recipient, and tap on Title to add a meeting title. Here you'll also want to choose how long the meeting will be ( Duration), what calendar this event will be added to once your recipient books a time, location details, and a description, if needed:

5
Tap on Select Times, and you'll find a weekly calendar view, showing any events you might currently have scheduled.

6
Tap directly on the calendar view to suggest available time slots to meet. You can also long press and drag to change the start time, or tap and drag the bottom of the suggested event to change the duration. To remove a time, just tap on the X next to it.

7
Once you're happy with the times suggested, tap on Done in the top right corner to save the suggested times and return to the main menu.

8
From here, you can double check the details, and you can tap on Advanced Options to enable the following:
  • Include Magic Live Calendar- Allow recipients to choose a time from a live calendar insert, which will always reflect your latest, up-to-date availability.
  • Include my free/busy availability- If you choose to include a Magic Live Calendar, you can also show your free/busy availability without giving up your privacy. We’ll show if you’re busy, but the details remain a secret.
  • Reserve these times on my calendar- We’ll add tentative events to your calendar to reserve these times until your guest chooses one.
  • Prevent double booking- We'll automatically remove slots that become unavailable, and add them back if time frees up again.
9
When everything is to your liking, tap on Insert
A Magic Live Calendar will be embedded in your email draft, showing your recipient an always up-to-date view of times you can meet. Once you've sent the email, they can click directly on the image to confirm a time, and calendar invitations will be sent to both of you.
